Korean and Japanese mills set the benchmark for two things our market cares about. The first is premium abaya nida: the matt finish, the depth and stability of the black, and the way the cloth falls without clinging are still unmatched, and buyers in the Gulf recognise the difference immediately.
The second is engineered performance fabric — moisture management, four-way stretch, downproof and lightweight technical wovens where the mill is selling precision rather than price.
These are the most expensive metres we sell, and we do not pretend otherwise. Where a buyer’s end use does not need this level, we will quote a Chinese or Indian equivalent alongside so the price difference is visible and the choice is informed.
