Pure flax linen and linen-cotton blends — breathable, characterful cloth suited to Gulf heat and premium interiors.
Linen behaves differently from cotton and is worth choosing deliberately. It is markedly more breathable, it cools rather than insulates, and it takes on a soft handle with washing that buyers either love or need warning about. For summer shirting, resort wear and premium interiors in this region, little else performs as well.
We supply pure flax linen from 130 to 260 GSM, plus linen-cotton and linen-viscose blends where a buyer wants linen’s look with less creasing and a lower price. Yarn-dyed stripes and checks, piece-dyed solids and undyed natural are all available.
Be aware that pure linen creases — that is the fibre, not a fault. Where creasing is unacceptable we will recommend a 55/45 linen-cotton or a linen-viscose instead, and explain what you gain and lose.
